A term over used by many & is treated as in some ways the terminology sets some magic that will come to rescue folks to the unexpected.

As I see life, it does not take you from one point to set you settle on another. It is not about walking one straight line as life is very much like going about in a cycle like wheel in exploration. I go East & I arrive at West. I keep on walking thinking I have a certain destination yet I ended up elsewhere from my planned destination. I thought wanted to be a journalist but being an artist is what I love most. I used dream of preaching like priests yet I hang on to being secular; follow no doctrines & embracing no religions. I used to think I'll take revenge on all those who did me wrong, yet hatred finds no space in my life. I do not see I am destined to be this or that. I AM destiny, a destiny with purpose to explore every possibility I choose to explore and journey all adventures I am pleased to travel in this mortal existence.FVnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2764179647228720331.post-41457272700806867582009-07-11T16:43:08.641+05:302009-07-11T16:43:08.641+05:30Vicki- Interesting Equation-

It will never be anything >2 or <2 unless we change the variables.Likewise in life, unless we change the entities we keep juggling with, we would always end up getting the same results. How can there be change/ Improvement if we don't make any effort in creating it?

Yes, I can relate to the liberation on realizing the power of free will. The highlight being- "I would rather live as if my destiny is totally under my control and find out later that it was not; rather than live as though it is not, then find out later that it was." All I can say is that I am truly blessed to have such individuals in my Life. Its not often one... Read More comes across such generous souls who unconditionally share all they have learned throughout their voyage and possess. Couldn't agree more. Why else are we here? God gave us a brain in our skulls and feet in our shoes to figure it out and take ourselves where we choose to be. We would simply be puppets if we had no free will. Thank You loads. However if it were grown in the vineyard of a great winery it's chances are better.

With the human in this equation I offer this; does every grape grower/farmer make great wine?

Only if he thinks he can 1st. That thought will turn into a belief which causes him to take actions, which lead to the practice of making great wine.

He certainly can simply make grape juice or sell the grapes or let them dry and have raisins for a lifetime. The choice is his/her own. The path to your destiny awaits your decision...and then your actions will bring you closer... or further from the destiny you "say" you want.

Enjoy your journey either way; this indeed is the path to a journey well traveled.~In my humble opinion.

Lastly, I would rather live as if my destiny is totally under my control and find out later that it was not; rather than live as though it is not, then find out later that it was.

That to me is the essence of why God/Universe has given us this power to choose.Phillipnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2764179647228720331.post-25592767781086672272009-07-08T12:44:09.673+05:302009-07-08T12:44:09.673+05:30Shaun- Thank You for the fruitful comment. We are such advanced creatures and sadly too many individuals tend to under-estimate their capabilities and find destiny as the most convenient excuse. My Q to many of them are- If God had already pre-planned every single aspect of your Life, from cradle to grave, then why are you here? Might as well have gone to Heaven right away with this phase on Earth. The Beauty is even with Faith/ Religion God said" Let their be no compulsion". After having that extraordinary degree of Freedom even with Faith how is it remotely possible to live the rest of your life without the authority of making choices?Dr. Dheena Sadikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01380737663301960751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2764179647228720331.post-89284391831926290222009-07-08T12:41:28.151+05:302009-07-08T12:41:28.151+05:30This is a massive subject but the one statement th...This is a massive subject but the one statement that grabbed my attention is “would God be pleased with me if I took his blessings (your talents) for granted?”.
I'm sorry but in my opinion God is unconditional he doesn't have a BIG stick he just LOVES UNCONDITIONALLY, we are given blessings and gifts but we decide what to do with them.
We can live ... our life feeling separate from life or we can open our heart and feel connected to life.
We can live our life listening to negativity, fear, anger or listen to our heart and live our life with love.Shaunnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2764179647228720331.post-16833559889867586512009-07-08T12:33:41.036+05:302009-07-08T12:33:41.036+05:30Thank You Martie. Far too many times people allow themselves to be divided from their plans and dreams by modern myths derived from ancient philosophy designed to help the downtrodden cope with their lot.
