Tariq- It really doesn't matter how we address our creator. Some of us call Him Allah, while Other call Him the Lord/God. Nature has been gifted to all mankind, regardless of our ethnicity or levels of Faith, as well as other species too. Yes, agreed none other than God love us unconditionally and infinitely.
As for those of you who don't understand the word "Alhamdulillah"-it simply means "Praise be to God".
Love it you are truley gifted sweetie. Warm thoughts indeed
Thank You MamaCapps. Appreciate your Kind words. May God Bless You.
I could not agree with you more & this was so beautifully presented through your words & beautiful pictures. I really enjoy your blog. Peace & continued blessings.
Thank You SoulByDzyne. Appreciate your appreciation.
tend to think and feel that god is Both male and female, like father sky and mother earth together or something. From my perspective both male and female come together to create new life, (a baby) so God is both energies together, yin and yang, the energy of the universe...:) i realize this is not what religions teach, but those religions are all run by men. Women are more important than those religions would want people to know..I think if all the religions were run by women we wouldn't be involved in all these wars..
Ralph, no offense, but if you understand the extent to which the religion (atleast ours) has gone to dignify and magnify the importance of women in the society, your statement there may differ :)
Thanks Yasir, no offense meant to your religion or any for that matter. people are free to believe whatever they want. My perfect religion (in my mind) would make both sexes Totally equal in every single way, not just to dignify and magnify their importance, They are THE most important people as they are our mothers, and we lived within them for 9 months before we were born. we should bow down to them.
Yasir- Not everyone globally has been through the same schools of teachings to be able to draw similar conclusions, so I don't think its fair by any means to expect anyone else' opinion to be either coordinated OR even remotely overlapping our own. Its a democratic world and even God gave us Free will to pave our own paths. Else we would not be here.
Ralph- I agree with you about respecting our Mothers. Apart from that I'd like to add that Yasir was only trying to clarify the fact that in Islam, despite what the media reveals today, there is great respect for women. Its very misfortune and primitive that Religions are judged via its believers as simply as any Author should not be judged via its readers.
We are all one family under HIM ..Let us stand united spiritually atleast ..if not politically and economically !
Anthony- Agreed. God is the compass. We should seek our directions.
Eugene- Its the similarity in our minds that brought us together, so we are bound to be comfortable in each others' presenc
Ralph, I would just like to quote a couple of the teachings in our religion regarding mothers for your enlightenment (hope you don't mind):
1. "And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years, give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination." (Luqman 31:14)
2. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is reported to have said, "Paradise lies at the feet of mothers."
3. It is reported once a man asked the Prophet (SAW), "Who is most worthy of my love and respect?" The Prophet (SAW) replied, "Your mother." The man asked, "And then who?" The Prophet (SAW) again answered, "Your mother." The man asked one more time and received the same answer. When the man asked the question a fourth time, the Prophet (SAW) answered, "Your father."
Thank You Yasir

Worthy Quotes
"We begin life with the world presenting itself to us as it is. Someone - our parents, teachers, analysts - hypnotizes us to "see" the world and construe it in the "right" way. These others label the world, attach names and give voices to the beings and events in it, so that thereafter, we cannot read the world in any other language or hear it saying other things to us. The task is to break the hypnotic spell, so that we become undeaf, unblind and multilingual, thereby letting the world speak to us in new voices and write all its possible meanings in the new book of our existence. Be careful in your choice of hypnotists."

About Dr. Dheena Sadik
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, the Universe swept me away to a historic city in the heart of Asia for my medical studies. This metamorphic half decade molded me in challenging ways beyond my imagination as I arrived in Nawabshah, a medieval city in the heart of Sind province of Pakistan, that ideally fits the description of the Arabian Nights tales.
Eventually, I realized my true calling is to heal beings via the elixir of writing rather than synthetic drugs. Hence, I now embark on an unpredictable journey as I travel to pursue my dream.
With patience and perseverance, I continue to remain steadfast in following my passion guided by intuition.
Through writing, I look forward to sharing my Chosen Odyssey with you.
