Could not agree more. I have found myself many times torn inbetween what i want and what i should be doing..i often did what i wanted to do, but then kept feeling guilty..and that very guilt prevented me from feeling happy of doing that what i wanted...i am not sure i express it clearly enough, but so it was a vicious circle..And then one fine day i stopped and did not what my crazy heart kept wanting and wanting to do, but acted in a concious manner, in accordance to my inner self, my Religion, my parents..maybe a little against my desire, but time heals all. And Im happy now. Happy both spiritually&mentally. I feel no guilt but proudness. I might have lost something but but I have the peace of mind, the Oasis of peace within my soul...and that is a lot. Thank you dina, your blog is an eye-opener for many, Im sure.
Bless,

You're welcome Muhabbat,

Its breathtaking to see individuals who find inner peace and stay there long enough to admit it. In this high velocity era many seem to be caught up in a continuous rat race. Either against themselves or others. Sometimes we need to take a break and catch a breath in order to enjoy the view surrounding us. Its the little things in life than seep tranquility into our souls. The Heart is a vessel and needs to be filled. We can only fill it with those things money can never buy. Have a wonderful Life.

I have read all of your posts...and I found one common thing in them all:the word TRANQUILITY. What is it about tranquility? You seek it? you treasure it? You think its most important? Just a question, hope not a too personal one.

Hey Muhabbat,

Based on the origin of your name, I assume you are Urdu Speaking. Tranquility directly means "Sukoon" in the Urdu context. Here I'm referring to " Dil ka Sukoon Manzil" which means Tranquility of your heart in an illiterate sense.

To those who didn't understand the above; When I mention tranquility I refer to the Peace, Serenity and Calmness within us. That aura in the absence of stress and disturbances.
Hope I answered the question.

thank you dear, God bless you.

I do not speak urdu, although my name suggests so. I am from kazakhstan and i am Uighur (and speak UIGHUR language - another in Turkik family of languages), but now i surely do understand what you meant. In english its Peace of mind, i guess. A treasure to have, which i wish upon everyone.

Peace in ones' mind and heart comes from being humble, meek and leading a simple life. In other words is to be unmaterialistic. This also leads to true spirtualism and God

Once we are able to experience total silence within we are able to experience all that is already there awaiting the opportunity to speak with us and share with us...

I went through my darkness days back 25yrs ago living in the most peaceful environment - solitude for days on end...soon realized peace had to be found from within...meditation became a source of connection to my inner self and my divine source.....still took 23yrs to come to a place which I could call peace on many levels of consciousness.
