103. Grow and Glow

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , ,

Of all Earthly "things" that seem so tempting,

What must be consumed at infancy is our Ego,

As the Fire within is blazing towards Divine Light,

Like fireflies and moths burn to One as we ignite.

From Nothingness arises All and Everything,

Yet, how challenging is it to reach nothing?

Relentlessly, we search for answers,

Unaware Truth lies in fearless questions.

O’ Beautiful Spirit, gently learn to let Go,

Caress your Breath, to set yourself Free,

Nurture your Being, then shall you Know,

As we glide through Nature, O’ let us Glow!

Peace, Light and Love,

93. Quit the Drama

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , ,

Quit expecting,
Quite over-analyzing,
Quit over-explaining,
Quit over-defining,

Quit over-dissecting,
Quit labeling in your head,
Quit fighting their boundaries,
Quit defending their systems!

Quit waiting...
Quit over-trying,
Quit controlling your growth,
Quit stunting your evolution,

Because...

This is YOUR time,
This is YOUR Life,
This is YOUR journey,
These are YOUR moments,

To which you hold the RIGHTS to YOUR innate freedom,

This is YOUR Day,
to which YOU are accountable every second,

SO...

Take 100% responsibility for YOUR ride!

Eventually...

In the end all that matters is how genuinely and deeply you recognized God through your very core,
your intuitions and your Heart as it was not about pleasing them dear Soul.

It always was, is and will be between the Divine Source that sent You HERE for this experience.

After all the bruises, tears and challenges BELIEVE that you will make it through....

Since....

With God all GREAT things are possible!

87. Fire and Ice

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , ,

Over diverse ages
Much has grown,
Earth and her children
Graciously evolve;

Majestic Mammoths
Roamed this Kingdom,
Peacefully handed over
Reigns to our generation;

Fire rose to be hot
Ice chose to be cold,
Water flexibly dances
Rocks simply froze;

As we swirl and glide
Towards mature elegance,
Some of our members
Favor not transformation;

They tighten their fists
And grip their jaws,
Stagnation encroaching
O’ their glow stunting!

They choose to resist
Everything persists,
Fire rose to be hot
Ice chose to be cold.

70. Your own route.

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , ,

The most convenient and predictable routes in life are usually the most stagnating programmed pathways. What makes the ultimate difference in outstanding individuals of all time, is the extend they are willing to take risks, to explore that extra mile of unknown possibilities, which may turn out either way. Those willing to accommodate variant outcomes of life that may ramify from anything into everything.

67. How much is the right dose?

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , ,

" Patience, patiENCE, PATIENCE!!! "

Too often we hear the significance of patience, but rarely told the right dose of its quantity and quality. If there isn't a limit, does one remain patient till death do them part? Does it mean to remain silent at times when's opinion in 100% worthy and valid in an argument where their wisdom can't be comprehended?

Its sad how FAR some individuals can remain submissive indefinitely, hoping for change via patience. If he/ she constantly makes excuses for those who miss/ ill- treat them, this cascade is a camouflaged form of insidious suicide; and too often they realize not.

If a child was deprived of a basic education by his/ her parents how much patience can be expected? Should that child be patient till adulthood until its a tad awkward to dream of things a child or regular teenager would experience? So WHAT should such a bewildered child do assuming there was no national service to help? There are too many teenagers deprived of a tertiary education for various traditional reasons too.

How about womenfolk's freedom? Its flabbergasting how much male dominance prevails in our era. Sons are given multiple folds of freedom relative to sisters of the same age. How MUCH patience can/ should she synthesize until she gets married to another member of the similar mentality and society? So after being patient unlimited in her childhood, she now enters motherhood where she needs to manufacture an inexhaustible supply of this convenient excuse, abuse and oppression others label as patience? Some women, are patient ALL their life all the way to senility. Is this the sole purpose God blessed us with a phenomenal brain? To initiate nothing except a mute presence?

So is there an optimal dose to patience? What's next? Beyond? Any over-dose, even water causes toxicity to our system. So does that rule apply here as well? If you would dissect patience further, what does psychology, psychiatry, the law of attraction, philosophy, religion have got to say about its boundaries, depth and spectra?

True enough, there are times in life when one intellectually and sensibly needs to hold on for a suitable time or precise space via logic and reasoning. Reaping the harvest of certain seasons can only be attained at its specific time ( unless cultivated in a glass house of course, which isn't yet available on a global scale) . You can't expect an infant to run before crawling and walking obviously. However, how much is the limit? As much as God blesses the patient heart, I also believe He blessed us ALL with tools within our hearts, brains, minds and souls to help lift ourselves up when and where ever we fall. If you have been patient far too long, then it''s time to allow your courage to be your fuel to project you beyond that cliff of reasonable tolerance, the engine of our minds, to propel you forward to refine yourself rather than accommodating stagnation.

65. The viscoid effect of Complaining

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , ,

If you like to complain its time to stop this self-consumptive habit. Too often time is wasted complaining which could have been utilized in implementing constructive thoughts into action to solve your current crisis. Its normal to be dissatisfied on the rare, but dissipating your energy over-expressing these vexations is simply futile. Avoid finding comfort narrating your situation to a herd of individuals who are unable to comprehend you. Its usually mere entertainment for them to hear you story. With experience, you should learn the fact some are more effective listeners and mentors than others. Invest your time on the worthy and receptive souls.

63. Thank Your Oppositions

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , ,

Be grateful for all oppositions of the past, present and future. You would not be as strong as you are this moment if you didn’t HAVE to have to awaken the latent strength hibernating within your mind. Unless we are bombarded with challenges there would be no reason for us to dissect our minds to release a variety of attempts to squeeze out the BEST in You. The more you dig deeper to explore your capabilities, the greater magnitude and multitude of uniqueness you will discover.

At the heat of the moment we seldom realize how a particular conflict or disagreement can in reality help our growth. There are too many lessons to be learnt from the turbulence and viscosity that sail our path. As we keep constantly traveling this journey, the hurdles make us stronger physically, mentally and spiritually too. How can pinnacles of life be refined further unless they are tested? Isn’t it only reasonable they are examined as we keep progressing?

62. One Earth - Home

In response to an intriguing comment to Post 53-

Comment- "What you said is beautiful, but here's a fact, I DO represent my own mind but i also represent MY COUNTRY, MY RELIGION, MY PEOPLE and if i act in an offensive way, this will be related to what i represent, what i'm trying to say is showing a beautiful mind and soul reflects on what i believe in and represent, and people will see that, feel that, and know the difference hands-on, not by reading books or listening to others but by simply experiencing how i act although i might represent what they don't understand or dislike...."

* Reply- I wasn't implying it's an absolutely a bad thing to be born to a particular religion, race or nation. In fact this creates diversity and eliminates boredom. My concern however, is how over-rated is all this grouping? As much as many love their herd, isn't this the major root to many conflicts on Earth today? As much as we feel home to our fellow worshipers and citizens, an exaggeration of this powerful feeling has wiped out thousands of our fellow Earthlings.

All in the name of Religion there have been too many wars, not only inter-religious but also Intra-religious clashes, eg Shiite- Sunni clashes within Islam. Having witnessed the intensity and discomfort between such groups I admit it's far from healthy. So all in the name of "love" and pride of their group, do they suddenly get rights to justify bitter feelings and thoughts towards the "other" groups? In this case, wouldn't you rather live in a world free of such boundaries limiting us to love and care for our fellow brothers and sisters?

As for patriotism- I arrived on Earth in the midst of a three decade CIVIL war, which only ended recently. Having been a victim, together with 20 million other country fellows, having lived with the constant fear of suicide bombers- even on your way back from school, with headlines on the news daily of casualties, there was very little that patriotism did to save all those countless innocent victims of ONE mother land.

Just think back of our planet. Regardless what you believe- Adam as the first man or evolution following the Big Bang, the entire globe was ONE until eventually we were separated into countries, continents, communities, religions, races and now socio-economic classes too. For those of you who believe in God, does the Almighty recognize us by our salaries, languages, citizenship or popularity? At dusk, aren't we all merely equal souls on the same line to Him?

As much as our minds have the power to cerebrate and make independent decisions, the element of inter-dependence between one another, regardless where we were born by default, will always exist till our final breathe. The entire Universe is a single organism just like ourselves. We are all part of a Vast jigsaw puzzle affecting each other.

Let us all be proud citizens of this Universe with compassionate towards our fellow beings and other creatures too. Lets be grateful for our intact senses and perceptions and be content to be amongst the privileged minority of this world to be seated comfortably this very moment and read this note with literacy so many aren't gifted to have. We are "more" blessed than we could ever imagine!

60. Sensitivity

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in

How sensitive should one be in pointing out someone's faults? At times you maybe misunderstood and even offended via an innocent suggestion of improving the ones you care about. Would you rather ignore camouflaged weaknesses if trying to uplift them jeopardizes the relationship?

57. Leverage

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , ,

Do you think its UNFAIR some are born with a silver spoon with parents to support every step they DESIRE? While others are born with the GREATEST challenges at the expense of having to give up their ambitions ONLY because they can't AFFORD it despite having the potential it requires?

56. Mistakes or Answers?

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , ,

Take your time to believe that which you are conventionally expected to believe. We are not expected to make any mistakes, but are there any absolute mistakes in Life's lessons?

55. You belong to You on Earth

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , , ,

Nobody has the right to change and control your Unique characteristics. Don't let anyone hypnotize you into that which they wished you could be instead. There is a unique compass embedded deep within your characteristic DNA. No two individuals own the exact genetic constituents (except clones). Likewise, whatever you desire, your dreams, your goals, your passions, your ambitions- The way You feel is your very own feelings. Believing you can make it happen is the first step to this destination of eternal serenity that would blossom out of it. Even if it takes years to convince yourself you can make it happen-Grip that thought! Imagine all the possibilities your mind can breathe through and fly across the infinite horizons of all realms. That exotic oasis within you.

Never regret ANY choices you made beyond ALL oppositions. Your decisions were based on your experiences and you followed your instincts at that time which you believed was the
Best. Whatever the consequences maybe its all part of the package of your cruise. At times we receive alternative incentives to that which our hearts initially desired; Our juvenile minds of the past may have quenched for substances our souls do not really need today for its growth. Hence, not getting what you wanted is NOT a failure. In reality you got what you NEEDED to work in synergism with your maturity, nourishing and hydrating your soul to a more refined and unique individual today, better than yesterday.

52. Who's to Blame?

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in ,

Why do some individuals focus SO hard on blaming someone for every problem? Is there someone to blame ALWAYS for every complication in Life? Why not conserve and utilize this energy to find a solution instead! Isn't that WAY more sensible and less energy dissipated for futility?

47. Is Relativity the Root?

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in ,

In reality what is the size of a rose? Is it as gigantic it was to a bee on its petal as it blossomed, as small as you saw it across the street or simply the size when its enclosed in your palm? No two individuals perceive anything 100% alike. Our intuitions are based on our individual experiences as we mature everyday. Five is less than nine, but will always be greater than two. At times we compare scenarios and dilemmas in order to fuel us with resolutions. But is this always healthy? How much does relativity damage the freedom of exploring our originality?

Relativity of Generations- How fair is it to compare the economy, entertainment, comfort levels and convention of generations that span a good old three decades? There is no harm discussing the progress or decline of our planet; But isn't it fruitless to keep living in non-existent generation? Well, believe me such individuals DO exist! They live every single day disappointed with change, relative to their childhood. Like the seasons, change is inevitable. Its only a futile quest to try and keep the atmosphere as it was in 1979. How absurd is it for seniors to expect children to desire similar standards of living as they did decades ago? Its a very common and unfortunate scenario in my vicinity. Its nothing to do with religion and everything to do with holding onto traditions that are unquestionably decaying.

Relativity of Societal Classes- The thirst for power is undoubtedly insatiable. The Middle class are struggling to leap to the Upper class while the Poverty-stricken are dreaming of escalating to the Middle class. In life we consider 'better' a zone that is either higher or more comfortable to where we sit right now, although this maybe less agreeable to someone at a more contented level. There are some with an insatiable appetite to get richer, look better, obsessed with popularity and fame; This isn't a crime. No. In fact, self- evolution is the key to a more refined society. However, should there be an unconscious scale in our minds comparing ourselves to other individuals? As for other side of this tale, have you ever met anyone who is simply pleased with exactly who and what he/she is at any given point in time? You can try convincing them how much more potential they got reserved, and they would tell you they are simply grateful not to be living in the slums or starving in Africa!

Relativity of Religion- Makes You sigh doesn't it? Throughout the ages, there is little doubt how religion itself has been a major cause in emanating clashes within and amongst various societies. As much as our cyberspace era is accelerating networking, paradoxically the subject of adversity among religions would sadly last till Doom's Day. Apart from Inter-religion relativity how about Intra-religion Clashes? Its simply amazing how individuals have such strong clasps of estimation on levels of Faith. To the monotheists- Isn't it for the Almighty Himself to judge what lies in our hearts?

These are only a few of the major avenues in this pragmatic issue. Every single aspect of your life can be scaled to another Sensibly how worthy are all these measurements? To what degree is this inevitable analogy ruining the indulgence of our lives? Is it remotely possible for You to draw any conclusion without this element of comparison?

45. Your Choice

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , , ,

It's better to be temporarily single than be permanently in Love with someone who neither appreciate nor deserve You!

After I updated the above on Twitter I received an unbelievable response, some also via email. As much as some agreed there were others who misunderstood the depth of the point. Hence, I decided to give you an explanation it deserves.

Please note- When I write, its neither based on movies nor on stories I was narrated. Instead it is constructed purely on my experiences and observations in my vicinity. In this case, I speak on behalf of those individuals, mostly females, who are suffering in silence. Not necessarily abused physically; Rather on behalf of those who portray a pretty rosy serene picture to the world outside their reality.

There are too many women who sacrifice their happiness on behalf of their parents, husband and finally children. Its an unbelievable vicious cycle that only stops as she departs this world. A permanent life long sacrifice all in the name of Love? It simply can't be fair. It only leaves me baffled with the reality hidden behind that meticulously attempted smile they wear to their conventional society. What's even more alarming is the magnitude of hope these women have in store. They feel its one step forward to wait, not to realize it recoils two steps behind. They believe someday they may be appreciated for all their patience. Patience till WHEN? is my question.

I believe there comes a point, when you don't deserve any more mental agony, any more emotion handicap, when you should become more pragmatic and stop day dreaming of that day which has taken way too long already to arise. It may simply be that tone which cannot be molded to a more respectable version. When You are being mistreated over and over again- It simply SHOULD change. There are more women than you can ever imagine who live in a fantasy that someday life may evolve drastically for the better. Changes in personality requires time and effort. It never happens overnight in real world. You try your utmost to grow together until you deplete your strength. Beyond that it's simply futile. Like I mentioned in Post 43 ~ Love is an essential entity everyone needs till their last breathe, despite some too victimized via bitter experiences to admit this.

So let us hope that everyone would be true to their hearts and seek that which they deserve!

39. People and Books

Let's neither judge books via their covers or readers nor individuals via their attire or geography. Instead let's seep into their substance and discover their unique capabilities and possibilities.

29. Till Death Do You Apart

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , , , ,

Your parents, siblings, relatives, friends, lover, spouse or children may leave you anytime abruptly either accidentally, unexpectedly or inevitably; But life must go on. In the midst of all life's calamities, the only reliable entity over which you have some control over is your Career. Give it your 100% attention and commitment. If you nurse and pamper your livelihood, you would neither regret nor ever be disappointed.

May that career be fused with your passion and bring you eternal bliss in good times and in bad, in joy as well in sorrow, for as long as you shall live.

22. Unity in diversity

The main ingredient of strong bonds between individuals is the similarity in the wavelength of their thoughts, and not the mere coincidence of their geography, biology or religion.

19. Reading

Its funny how some of the greatest philosophers and authors never enjoyed reading during their childhood.

18. Is Your Destiny Inevitable or an Excuse?

Posted by Dr. Dheena Sadik in , , , ,

Wherever in the globe you maybe seated right now, you probably heard “it wasn’t meant to be” at least once in your lifetime. If this is 100% true, aren’t we victims to mental captivity with very little space to explore the infinite possibilities of our talents, interests and creativity?

What exactly is destiny (aka Fate, Karma, Kismet)? If it was “destined” an individual was “meant” to become an engineer someday, does this mean he would inevitably choose that particular avenue regardless how much effort he applies during his academic phase? Does a child born in the slums have to permit her "destiny" to force her to remain in that environment forever instead of trying hard to seek a more comfortable life? It’s ironic how we give ourselves a pat on the back when we succeed, while we conveniently label failures as an effect of Kismet. How much authority do you in reality, have over this unpredictable journey we call life? If all life’s events were already pre-planned doesn’t that make us nothing less than programmed robots with hearts living aimlessly without emotional liberty? This constant Tug-of War between our goals and Fate throws us into a dilemma compelling us to make a diligent decision. Do you choose to simply lie back in slumber and wait for Karma push your buttons or would you rather take responsibility of your life and use that phenomenal brain to make you noteworthy?

All classic men and women of time, without a shadow of doubt, faced challenges chaperoned with antagonism and enmity. The distinction in their struggle is their admirable courage against permitting anyone to trample their dreams and passion. They imagined beyond what they heard and chose to dye actively trying rather than keep living passively without finding their the avenues to their goals. The world would not be advanced and developed as it is today if all those great icons didn’t strive to make a difference. They didn’t wait for destiny to sweep them off their feet, rather they paved their pathway perspiring.

Step out of the bubble of convention and be original. You are more capable than you realize. The world needs your committed dedication. All your failures and success, whether you accept it or not, contribute to our future beyond your imagination. We were all born with at least one unique talent. It’s your responsibility to discover and mould it to a work of art. Don’t give destiny as an excuse for lethargy. Instead, make your existence significant. To those of you who believe in God, simply ask yourself one question, “would God be pleased with me if I took his blessings (your talents) for granted?”.
